Mid-Pacific School of the Arts is proud to present the Hawai’i premiere of Pierre Corneille’s The Illusion, adapted by Tony Kushner, and directed by Alex Monti Fox. Running April 28th through May 7th, The Illusion tells the tale of an aging father who seeks the help of a powerful sorceress to find his estranged son. The magician conjures visions of the orphaned son’s adventurous life of love and loss, and the father soon fathoms his son’s fate, though not before learning an important lesson about the nature of magic, art, life, and love.
